Rent Ready Ireland is a free informational platform providing rental decision tools to people renting in Ireland. We are not an estate agency, financial adviser, or property portal. Our tools are built to help renters make more informed decisions — nothing more.
This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, and your rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Data Protection Acts 1988–2018 (Ireland).
We collect your email address only when you choose to download one of our free templates — the Tenant Profile Template, Landlord Introduction Letter, or the Document Checklist PDF. You are not required to provide an email to use any of our calculators or tools.
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our website. This data is aggregated and anonymised — it tells us things like which pages are visited most often, not who you are. See the Cookies section below for more detail.
When you enter your email to download a free template, you are consenting to us storing that email address to understand download activity and improve our resources. This is entirely voluntary — the tool still works without downloading.

We use Google Analytics (provided by Google Ireland Ltd., Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland) to collect anonymised data about website visits including pages viewed, time spent, and general geographic region (country level). Google Analytics does not identify you personally.
We use Google Search Console to monitor how our site appears in Google search results. This tool does not collect personal data from visitors.
We do not use any advertising networks, retargeting cookies, or third-party tracking for commercial purposes.

Email addresses collected via the download gate are retained for up to 12 months from the date of collection, after which they are deleted. We do not use these email addresses to send marketing communications. If you wish to have your email deleted sooner, you can contact us at any time.
Aggregated analytics data held by Google is governed by Google's own retention policies, which you can review at policies.google.com/privacy.
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect any personal data we hold. Email addresses collected are stored securely with restricted access. We do not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise transfer your personal data to any third party for commercial purposes.
